Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of www.cgmEDUCATION.net programs, participants will be better able to:

  1. Recognize clinical benefits and importance of diabetes therapies and integrated diabetes devices/SMBG use
  2. Overcome barriers for people with diabetes (PwD) and healthcare providers’ (HCPs) to technology access, and be continuously aware of technology advances
  3. Identify resources available to ensure PwD/HCPs knowledge of, and equity in diabetes device information, acquisition, shared decisions and ongoing management partnership
  4. Facilitate shared decision making between PwD and care givers to determine best method of insulin delivery, based on individual needs such as compatibility with latest devices, size/mobility, predictive capabilities, and instilling overall confidence
  5. Detect and manage diabetes comorbidities such as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)/Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH)
  6. Engage in ongoing, online dialogue regarding rapid-acting insulin administration, and mentor other clinicians/PwD for same.
  7. Apply learnings to diabetes management via current and future cutting-edge technology
